ITF London Headquarters Staff Strike
ITF London headquarters staff have decided to go ahead with the strike they previously postponed, to be held from 15–18 September 2025, following the failure to reach an agreement in negotiations with ITF management.
This strike is taking place because management has failed to take steps to address concerns in the restructuring and redundancy negotiations and has not met employees’ demands regarding job security.
Staff are specifically requesting:
- Prevention of compulsory redundancies,
- Continuation of existing job security under the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA),
- Preservation of the wage policy until CBA negotiations are concluded.
According to Unite, the union representing staff, management’s proposal did not adequately address employees’ concerns over rights and job security and was rejected by 72% of members.
The strike is a last resort aimed at protecting staff rights and ensuring the long-term sustainability and effective functioning of ITF.
We believe that the staff’s demands are justified and important, and we support this process. We emphasize that all ITF members and relevant stakeholders should show solidarity to ensure that the staff’s demands are met fairly and promptly.
