Start of Ramadan

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Start of the month of Ramadan 

On behalf of the ITF, I would like to extend our greetings to all affiliates and members who celebrate the month of Ramadan.

Ramadan is a time to focus on unity, to renew and enhance ties between family and community, and to remember our brothers and sisters all over the world who face hardship and suffering.

The month of Ramadan also serves as a timely reminder for us all of the important role that the ITF family plays in supporting transport workers. Transport workers globally understand that the best way to achieve our aims is by standing united in solidarity and recognising and respecting each other’s beliefs.

I wish you all, your families, and your colleagues a Happy Ramadan.
